Data Deletion Request

What HalalCheck AI collects about you
- Ingredient text you submit — the text you type, paste or scan
is sent to our server for analysis. It is stored anonymously with no identity attached.
- Anonymous device ID — a random code generated by the app on
first install. Not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, Google account or phone
number. Used only to manage your daily free scan limit.
That’s it. No name. No email. No location. No camera images. No account required.
How to request deletion
- Open HalalCheck AI.
- Tap Settings (gear icon, top right).
- Tap App Feedback.
- Write “Data deletion request” and send.
We will delete your data from our server within 30 days of receiving your request.
The device ID stored on your phone can be removed by uninstalling the app.
The device ID on our server will be deleted within 30 days of your request regardless.
Data stored on your device only
Scan history and Pro purchase status are stored locally on your device and never
uploaded. To delete this, simply uninstall the app.
